The Institute of Computer Science (ICS) at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) proudly celebrated the achievements of the graduating class of 2023, comprising 63 Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, 3 Master of Science in Computer Science, 3 Master of Information Technology, and 1 PhD in Computer Science graduates.
Out of the 63 bachelor’s degree recipients, eight students achieved the prestigious distinction of Summa Cum Laude, led by Mr. Jenel M. Justo who graduated as the BSCS class Valedictorian, and Mr. Ian Van Razo who graduated as the BSCS class Salutatorian. Mr. Justo and Mr. Razo were also recognized as the College of Arts and Sciences and UPLB Valedictorian and Salutatorian respectively.
Thirteen BSCS students were recognized as Magna Cum Laude for their outstanding scholastic achievements, while 24 graduates earned the Cum Laude distinction. An additional 10 students were recognized as Honor Roll.
